Make your own advent candle holder with Höfats
The candle holders from Höfats are made of brushed stainless steel and come in black and steel. They measure 17 x 9.5 x 2.5 cm and fit candles with a diameter of 20 to 24 mm, which are fixed on two spikes so the candle does not fall over. If you buy four, they can be engraved with 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Advent, so together they become an advent candle holder.
The candle holders can also stand alone with a name, a date or a short quote. On the black holder the engraving appears in a metallic grey shade, and on the steel holder it appears in black. The engraving is placed at the top.
UNIKA advent candle holder in wood
The advent candle holder from the UNIKA series by Ib Laursen is Nordic and simple. It is made of reclaimed wood with metal candle plates, measures 30 cm in length and fits candles with a diameter of 2.2 cm. The wooden block can stand alone or be decorated with spruce and ornaments as a Christmas arrangement. The engraving appears in a dark shade. Because the holder is made of reclaimed wood, there may be cracks and holes in the wood.
Brass candle holder from H. Skjalm P.
The square candle holder from H. Skjalm P. is made of matt brass and measures 11 cm. It has a good weight, so it stands securely on the table, and it can be used alone or together with others. The engraving appears in black and is placed vertically from the bottom up. Brass goes well with other materials such as glass, leather and steel.
Tealight houses with names
The houses from Ib Laursen's Stillenat series are made of metal and brass and can be used with tealights or a string of lights. They measure 7 x 13 x 8 cm, and the name is engraved in black, centred on the roof. The houses can stand on a shelf in the living room, in a child's room or in the summer house.
How to care for your candle holder
Brass is a soft material, and its colour can change over time and from greasy fingerprints. You can use brass polish, but do so carefully.
Christmas candle holders as a gift
A candle holder with a name is a personal gift for the host, for grandparents or for yourself. Four Höfats holders with 1st to 4th Advent are also a gift that can be used from the very first Sunday in Advent.
