CARE - Health & Care

Journeyman's gift for the SOSU – acknowledge those who care for us all

SOSU assistants and SOSU helpers are the backbone of the Danish welfare society. They are the ones who show up early, stay late, and give of themselves – day after day. Completing a SOSU education is an achievement that encompasses much more than professional knowledge: it requires empathy, strength, and a willingness to make a difference.

Once the journeyman's certificate is in hand, it's time to say thank you – with a gift that matters. The CARE figure from Maya Soele is created for precisely this occasion.

A sculpture that celebrates care work

Maya Soele has designed the CARE figure with the respect and recognition that the care sector deserves. The figure depicts the SOSU assistant with an expression that embodies both professional pride and human warmth – just like the profession itself. It is a sculpture that can stand as a visible testament to a completed education and a chosen calling.

The figure is crafted with high quality and comes in beautiful packaging – ready to be presented at graduation, the journeyman's party, or a small celebration with colleagues.

Free engraving – the personal detail that makes a difference

At Name2you, we offer free engraving on all CARE figures. Write the new journeyman's name, date, and a greeting – we'll take care of the rest. It costs nothing, but it means everything. An engraved gift is a gift that tells the story of the day the education became a reality.

For the SOSU who has given so much of themselves, it is only fair to give something back that is just as personal.

Who gives the CARE figure?

The CARE figure is the obvious journeyman's gift for newly qualified SOSU assistants and SOSU helpers. It is given by: The workplace or center celebrating an apprentice's completion Parents and family who are proud of a completed and meaningful choice Classmates from the education celebrating each other Colleagues who want to mark a colleague's transition from student to qualified professional

The gift hits right at the heart of what SOSU education is about: care, presence, and professionalism.
